Variable Flow Pump Station |
| Variable Flow and Pressure The pressure and volume that the pump produces is adjustable. The pumping station is controlled using a frequency inverter that safely varies the motor RPM to create desired flow rates and pressures. It allows a fixed displacement pump to have an infinite number of controlled displacement output volumes and pressures. CAT 3535 Piston Pump The Variable Flow Pumping Station features a 25 hp US Motor driving a heavy duty CAT 3535 piston pump. The CAT pump can be as much as a $1500 option on less equipped machines. VFD Extended Pump Life The flow rate through the pump is adjustable by incorporating a variable frequency drive (VFD) motor controller, which ramps the pump up and down to the desired speed with soft starts and stops, further extending pump service life by 2 to 3 times. Easy Service Access Open framework allows easy access for service. |
